Music for Ketamine Journies

Music is an essential component to any Psychedelic journey focused on healing. The lists below have been custom designed to enhance and influence journies with the medicine Ketamine.

It is important to choose music that is NOT familiar, so that it does not bring up distinct memories or distract you from your internal process. Remember that the feeling of not liking a song can sometimes provide the opportunity to sink into the feeling of annoyance or dislike and see what it might have to offer you in your journey. Stay present, and use the music as an anchor to come back to if you feel distracted or like your conscious mind is fighting for control.

Playlists for Home Sessions

These playlists are created for those working with me who are engaging in home titration. They are designed to support deep relaxation and help you build your relationship with the medicine and journeying.

Playlists for Office/High Dose KAT Sessions

These lists are designed to mimic the arc of the medicine’s effects when doing a higher (psychedelic level) dose of Ketamine with or without a booster. These are intended to be paired with higher doses of Ketamine. The songs chosen will enhance, influence, and anchor your experience with this medicine.

Getting Your Device & Music ready

All of my playlists are on Spotify. The free version of Spotify will include ads which can be very disruptive to journies. If you are going to use this platform I recommend you pay for a membership. When using your phone or other phone connected devise for your sessions, I recommend:

#1: downloading the playlist you would like to use and then putting your phone on airplane mode with wifi turned off. these steps insure that you won’t be interrupted.

#2: Go to “settings” in Spotify, choose “playback” and slide the “Crossfade” bar over to 12 seconds. This will ensure that your songs weave together and that there are no awkward silences.

NOTE ABOUT SPOTIFY: the free version means that ads can interrupt your session which is something that you want to prevent. Using an ad free version of whatever music player you use is important.
